  • Communities Cooking Festivals
    During the months of April & May 2005, a series of cooking festivals were launched in the villages of Aarsal, Kfar Nabrakh, Kueikh in addition to the urban community: Burj el Barajneh Palestinian refugee camp where women from the communities were invited.

  • Aarsal Festival
    The cooking festival was held in Aarsal on the 7th of April 05. An AUB team along with a Future TV team took pictures, shot scenes and interviewed women who cooked recipes with wild edible plants. The festival took place in the Aarsal Rural Cooperative.

  • Kueikh Festival
    The cooking festival was also held in Kuakh on the 9th of April 2005 in the village municipality to meet with potential assistant cooks for the healthy kitchen component of the project. The event was similar to the one held in Aarsal.

  • Kfar Nabrakh Festival
    The cooking festival was also held in Kfar Nabrakh on May 6th 2005. This Festival was attended by people from several villages in the surrounding including: Batloun, Kfar Nabrakh, Al Dourhaniah, Rass El Maten, Bikaata, Ain w zein, Ainbel, Aridat El Chouf,
